Choosing the first shoes is one of the most important steps for parents. What are the right shoes for a child who doesn't walk yet but is starting to stand up and discover the world? EN FANT leather prewalkers are designed precisely for this period. They provide great stability while still respecting the natural development of a child's foot. The child can safely try their first steps in them, strengthen their leg muscles, and gain confidence in movement.

These EN FANT children's shoes are made from smooth natural leather, which is exceptionally soft and adaptable. This allows them to beautifully adapt to the shape of the foot. The inside of the shoe is pleasant and comfortable, so the child can wear the shoes for a longer time without discomfort – whether at home, in the stroller, or during their first attempts at walking.

The shoes have a higher cut, which helps them stay on the foot beautifully and provides a sense of security. Gentle reinforcement in the heel area aids stability, but it's not a hard heel counter – the foot still has enough freedom for natural movement.

The sole is soft, thin, and flexible, so it bends easily with the foot. The anti-slip pattern helps reduce the risk of slipping on smooth floors.

Thanks to the two Velcro fasteners, the shoes adapt perfectly to the child's foot. You can tighten them well even on a narrower ankle, so the booties do not slip off. And thanks to the wide opening, they are very easy to put on – which every parent will appreciate.

How to choose the right size? For first booties, the rule is – less is more. The recommended allowance is a maximum of 1 cm, so that the foot has space, but at the same time the shoe fits well and the child doesn't "swim" in it.
