Extendable and versatile design

The footmuff is designed to grow with your child. The basic length of 90 cm is ideal for a carrycot. Once the baby grows, you can extend the footmuff by 25 cm using the detachable foot cover, which you will especially appreciate for older children. This foot cover is waterproof even from the inside, so there is no need to take off shoes.

The back of the footmuff can also be used separately as a pram liner. Thanks to the openings for safety belts, the footmuff is also safe for babies sitting in a car seat or a stroller. The footmuff can also be opened completely.

The footmuff is made of three layers:

1. Outer layer: Waterproof shell fabric (water column 600 mm), which protects against moisture and wind.

2. Middle layer: Warm wadding for thermal insulation.

3. Inner lining: 100% merino wool (mulesing free), considered one of the finest wools.

   

Why is merino wool so special?

Merino is a natural wonder with excellent thermoregulatory properties. It warms in the cold, cools in the heat, and can absorb up to a third of its weight without feeling wet. Unlike cotton, it warms even when wet, which is invaluable. Thanks to its lanolin content, it is naturally antibacterial and silky soft to the touch, so it doesn't scratch and is suitable for direct contact with sensitive baby skin.

It is important to know that merino wool can shed fibers. This is not a defect, but a natural property of the material. Shedding can be significantly reduced by occasionally vacuuming the inner part of the footmuff.

Care and maintenance

Merino has self-cleaning properties, so it does not need to be washed frequently. If necessary, we recommend only hand washing in cold water with wool detergents. Never use fabric softener or tumble dry the footmuff. Hand washing will ensure that the footmuff retains its softness and quality for a long time.
