Merino wool wicks away sweat and moisture and naturally reduces odour. Merino regulates temperature and adapts to the surrounding conditions. Simply put, it means that it will keep your child nice and warm in winter and cool in hot weather.

Wool can absorb moisture up to one-third of its own weight without feeling damp on the skin. Merino wool overalls have a high natural content of lanolin, which has an antibacterial effect. Usually it is enough to ventilate the wool overalls regularly and only wash them from time to time. To avoid moths, please use lavender or cedar wood pieces in your wardrobe.

How to care for merino?

As the Cosilana brand does not treat merino wool with chlorine chemicals, we recommend hand washing at 30°C. Lavender or pieces of cedar wood help against moths. Use only wool detergent and wash the garment inside out. Do not use the dryer, hang the clothes out to dry.This care will keep your garment in beautiful condition.

Do not delay the removal of more significant stains, we recommend pre-washing as soon as possible using bile soap in cold water.

Merino wool is a very fine natural material and its durability is affected by the way and intensity of use. Merino from Cosilano has no treatment and thus retains the maximum of its natural properties. Clothes need to be washed really gently. On 100% natural material with no chlorine or polymer treatments, it can tend to make streaks in stressed areas.
